FRIDAY, 30TH OCTOBER
PARUA BAY TAVERN
THE NORTH REDEFINED
We Said It. We Lived It. We Redefined It.
OUR TANIWHA
+ KAURI
A season that challenged expectations, created history and redefined what it means to represent the North.
2026 was never going to be just another season. We set out to challenge the status quo, raise the bar and build something our entire region could be proud of. Our Taniwha and Kauri rose to that challenge, delivering unforgettable moments, hard-fought battles and historic milestones that will be remembered for years to come.
Tonight, we come together to recognise the outstanding individuals, inspiring leaders and emerging talent who helped shape an extraordinary season. We celebrate their achievements, their commitment to the jersey and the collective effort that made it all possible.
Because this season was about more than wins and losses. It was about pride, passion, resilience and proving what the North is capable of. This was the year we redefined the North.
BEHIND
THE TEAM
The people behind the moments that matter.
Every great team has another team standing behind it. The coaches, management, staff, board and support crew who put in the hours, make the sacrifices and work tirelessly to turn ambition into achievement.
While the players take the field, it's the collective effort behind the scenes that helps make every performance, milestone and moment possible.
This is our opportunity to turn the spotlight on those who
rarely seek it. To recognise their dedication, celebrate
their contribution and acknowledge the people who
helped redefine the North.
Because success is never achieved by those
on the field alone.
BEHIND
IT ALL
The belief behind the vision. The support behind the success.
Behind every great season are those who believe in what's possible. Our sponsors and commercial partners are
more than names on jerseys or logos around the field.
They are the businesses, organisations and people who
invest in our vision, stand behind our teams and help turn ambition into reality.
Their commitment extends far beyond the financial contribution, creating opportunities, strengthening connections and helping build a future for rugby across Te Tai Tokerau.
Behind It All is our opportunity to recognise the partnerships, loyalty and belief that have helped us challenge expectations, raise the bar and redefine the North.
Because behind every great achievement are those who believed it could happen.
WE INVITE YOU
|
WE INVITE YOU |
Our players. Our coaches. Our staff. Our board. Our partners. Our friends.
At the beginning of 2026, we set out to redefine the North. To challenge expectations, raise the standard and build something our entire region could be proud of.
And what a season it's been.
From historic achievements and unforgettable moments on the field to the tireless work behind the scenes and the unwavering belief of those who backed us, this season has been about so much more than rugby.
Now it's time to bring everyone together.
The North Redefined is an evening dedicated to celebrating our Taniwha and Kauri, recognising the people behind the teams and thanking the partners who helped make it all possible.
An evening of recognition, great company, good food, a few beverages and the chance to reflect on everything we've achieved together.
Because we didn't redefine the North alone. We did it together.
